Hyken Chair - Directions Not Clear ...

I had previously purchased the Bressor chair. Its lacked height and support and was clunky. There was no height adjustment so it sat very low. So I returned it and opted for the Hyken chair. The Hyken has better support and is very comfortable with an adjustable neck support. The directions were unclear and hard to follow. The arms although adjustable are a bit shaky. I guess I'll need to tighten the screws. It would be nice if Staples would have the chairs they have on their website in all their stores so one can try them out before purchasing them. Its an effort to put the chair together before finding out that itd not right. They you have to take apart and go through the return process.

Work from home and needed a chair that I could sit comfortably in for 8 hours. This chair is just that. Am very pleased with it and would recommend it to others.

This chair was originally purchased for a medium sized male. He did not care for the chair at all and refused to sit in it. This is the third one of these chairs we have in our office of 10 people. The other two people who use this chair are females on the petite side. I had been using another chair that is quite comfy (also purchased at Staples) but it didn't support me well for working long hours. I thought this chair looked weird so I sat in it just to see what it felt like and well now it's my chair! The seat is short which is perfect for me (I'm 5'3") and it supports my back and head which takes a lot of pressure off my spine and shoulders. I also like that the arms are adjustable and go low enough that I can slide under my desk to get closer to my keyboard without having to lower my chair too much. The chair looks a bit robotic but it's great for ergonomics.

I recently rearranged my office space to get some distance between me and my kids. In the process they got to keep my old office chair and I went in search of a new one. I decided I wanted something small and lighter than the big old leather chair I'd had. The Hyken was on sale and so I thought I'd give it a try. Went into the store and sat in everything. I was really pleased to discover that I liked the Hyken the best since it was on sale at the time. I didn't think I would care about or use the headrest and have been pleasantly surprised to discover that I really do like it. The chair is extremely comfortable for me. I'd been using an old kitchen chair since the kids had my old office chair and my back was hurting. The hyken is awesome. The chair conforms to me perfectly. I am 5'5" tall and about 140 lbs. I sometimes find a couple of my boys just sitting in my new chair to check it out. They are 5' 10" and 5' 8" and both say it's comfortable. I tell them to get their butts out of my chair! My space! My chair! and I'm not sharing! I had enough years of sharing my computer/office space with kids and I carved out a little space for myself finally. Love this chair. I will sometimes just sit and comfortable watch netflix on my laptop.
