Atrocious chair

I'm 6'1 and 230 pounds the mesh starts pulling up out of the place where it's fastened if your a big person save yourself the money. It says max weight 250 lbs BS. Don't buy this chair.
Of all the desk swivel chairs I looked at in the San Rafael store this chair felt the most comfortable looked good and was among the least expensive. The store didn't have any in stock but the assistant ordered it on-line for me with same-day delivery. I ordered it unassembled because I enjoy putting things together. The chair was delivered the next day. The box was so heavy I don't know how the delivery driver managed to carry it from his truck to my front hall. I unpacked and carried the individual pieces to my computer room. The assembly instructions were very clear and it took no time or effort to have a very comfortable chair for my computer. I have used it two to six hours daily and no longer have back or shoulder aches. The arms are just the right height to support my arms at keyboard height; the chair back gives great support but moves back and forth easily as I type so that I don't have to sit in one position; and the seat adjusts to just the height I want as well as being soft yet firm.
Highs: mesh back ease of assembly adjustability Lows: mesh seat plastic base headrest is a piece of plastic attached to another piece of plastic with metal screws watch out or you'll strip those plastic threads
I bought this chair online and had it delivered to my apartment. The tape on the bottom of the box was nearly ripped off so the delivery man had to lay the box on its top to maintain the box's integrity. Luckily none of the parts were missing but part of the plastic casing around the tilt pressure mechanism had chipped off. I assembled the chair in about 30 mins. The wheels were actually the hardest part as I had a terrible time inserting two of the five wheels into the base. I'm 5'10 and the chair is certainly wide enough for me (I'm a runner and in decent shape). The headrest is another story though. The bottom part was digging into my shoulders as mentioned in a couple other reviews. I simply detached the head rest and the chair works perfectly fine without it although I wish there was a way to raise or lower the headrest like in a car as opposed to just tilting it up or down 15 degrees. However my fiancee is 5'8 and the headrest seemed to fit her head comfortably. The chair seems adequately fine despite the broken plastic covering for the tilt pressure mechanism and the short head rest. I love the mesh material and the lumbar support so I'm not going to return it.
Received chair in good condition and was fairly easy to assemble. Looks nice but what is with all of the safety stickers? There were at least a half dozen hideous labels attached to the lower seat back bracket and they looked like a complete afterthought were applied haphazardly and plain just looked awful. i peeled them off during assembly and tossed them into the trash. The chair is very comfortable but as one reviewer noted a bit on the small side. I'm 6'3" and have a long torso so the the headrest which is not adjustable for height digs into the top of my shoulder blades. If it annoys me I'll remove it but some adjustment would have been nice. The seat back is not adjustable either vertical or horizontally (to extend the seating surface). As a side note only the back reclines not the seat. With my old chair I used to work rocked back with my keyboard on my lap but that is not possible with this chair. I now sit bolt upright to do my work which is better for my posture i guess. In summary I suggest you go to the store and sit in this chair before purchase. It's a nice chair but has a few quirks that may make it not to your liking.
Really like this chair. Seat is very comfortable; but best of all the lumbar support really fits my back. I sit at a desk a lot and before I was adding other appliances to keep my back from hurting. This replaces them all. It rolls very easily also.
I assembled this chair yesterday within 45 minutes and so far I'm very satisfied with the quality. Appears to sit very stern and comfortable and has a very clean look. The head rest is great especially when I need to give my neck a rest. Being a 6'2"/190 lb male with long legs and arms I struggle with finding chairs that accomodate me without some sort of discomfort. This chair appears to fit the bill in perfection as far as I'm concerned. I was impressed that Staples provided easy to understand instruction with segregated packs of screws for each step so there was no confusion as to what screws to use for each phase (step 1-6) which was a life-saver. I've assembles other products that require special attention just to get the nuts and bolts in workable order for assembly. The next phase with this chair purchase will be durability....to be continued
