Staples Hyken Technical Mesh Task Chair

Comfortable chair. Assembly not too difficult. Purchased for use while using computer. A little narrow in seat OK for us though. Headrest is nice. Can set adjustment for tension for ability to lean back. Overall happy with the purchase. Mesh is nice not bulky looking. Hope it holds up over time.

Bonus!

I like this chair. It sits higher than any other chair I've had. That's a bonus because I'm over six feet tall and have long legs. I also love the ability to lock the back into different levels from straight up mid-way to all the way back. So far I like the mesh seat and back. I'm not sure how durable they will be but so far it sure seems better than the standard fabric or vinyl ones. I'm also hoping that sweating will be minimal with the mesh. The only drawback was the head/neck rest or support. Because of my height it was always digging into my shoulders. If it could have been moved up and down like a car head rest I would have given it 5 stars.

Crooked

The chair was easy enough to assemble all parts present etc. However once it was all together and was set up on its wheels we discovered that the back piece was crooked. I mean *very* crooked. Try as we might with loosening and tightening bolts we weren't able to straighten it out. It's still reasonably comfortable with the adjustable arms and lumbar support but I can still feel the crooked back :( If I did it again I'd pay the $10 to have them assemble it (and I'm pretty handy - never pay for that kind of thing).

I was surprised to learn that this chair was made by Staples. Despite of some cheap looking and feeling plastic parts the overall impression is good. This is exactly what I've been looking for a long time and within that price range. The chair appeared to be twice as cheap as I would expect from that type of chair. So far - several weeks - this chair meets and exceeds all my expectations. Thank you Staples!
