We've only had our chairs for a few days now. From my experience so far it's amazing how well the chairs were designed so that they could be assembled at home. The kit has separate bags for each step and the number of screws for each step is different. Also they label the pieces with an arrow towards the front so you really can't make a mistake.

I bought the red one and the color is really nice like a burgundy instead of bright red which was good. It is very comfortable and the headrest was a nice feature to include. Install was not that difficult if you follow the steps.

surprisingly good

bought this to replace a defunct aeron chair. for the price difference there's little to argue against the replacement. i'm 6' 225 lbs. the hyken is a little narrow a little shallow but not uncomfortably so. the seat's front edge padding makes for comfortable sitting. the gas piston provides very firm seating (at least for now). the back is more than tall enough and the head rest is well-positioned. assembly was straightforward. backward tilt is a little loose but i use the tilt lock anyway.
