Not planning to buy a chair when I walked into Staples I saw this chair at $100 off the usual price. I ordered this one online to replace my 25-year-old chair that no longer adjusts up and down. It was delivered to my office the next day. It took this older person about one hour to put it together in the midst of assorted interruptions. Instructions were clear; parts were packaged in the order of use and clearly marked. While I've only had the chair about a week I think that it will serve my purposes well. The arm rests are more forward than many other chairs but I find them comfortable and actually useful for arm support when I am using my computer. The mesh is new to me but seems comfortable so far. My only complaint is that the forward edge of the chair is not padded forcing me to sit fully back in good posture position. That's a good thing I suppose but I'd like the front edge to have a bit of padding. The head rest is comfortable and handy for posture breaks helping to relax my neck. All things considered I think I'll be very happy with this chair.
The past few weeks working have been much better thanks to this chair. It was easy enough to assemble and is still standing strong. It's comfortable and forces proper seating with it's sturdy yet giving back.
The chair is decent. Easy enough to assemble. It's comfortable to a point but not great for bigger/taller people over long sitting periods. (I'm 6'2" 240lbs). The back is adjustable and has a locking mechanism. The neck support is really wonky. It helps but does not maintain its position and has limited adjustability. It's a good chair for 4-5 hours of sitting for someone under 200lbs.
Head rest had to be removed for the chair to be usable. I would think this is necessary for anyone 5'10" and up. Picture online makes it look like chair is comprised of some chrome metal; it is plastic painted grey.
Couldn't get the first step done - putting in the castors. Called the service phone line and they basically said it was hard and you think you might break it. Of course that could be printed in the instructions. I kind of thought the 5 castors went in the 5 legs which is all the instructions (i.e. diagram) said. Not something for someone that isn't used to this. Have to return.
Well made heavy chair is comfortable and gave me pride of accomplishment in the relatively easy assembly

Assembled it it under an hour. This might not sound impressive but it's the first office chair I've ever assembled. Have to say Im very glad it arrived in a few pieces because the box was labeled gross weight approximately 53 pounds and i needed the chair up a flight of stairs so piece by piece was easier than lugging the whole chair. It was almost comical how the various metal screws were packaged with labels and color coding but I suppose it helped to keep track of which step required how many screws because they all seemed to be the same size. Also thoughtful that the little wrench for the screws was included. I chose to not install the arms because I don't like office chair arms so it was fortunate that the arms were a modular separate component whose absence doesn't affect the integrity of the chair. An acquaintance said she would have installed the arms and left off the head rest (which i did install) so obviously the chair is somewhat customizable. The mesh seat and back feel like they will allow excellent air circulation hence cooling in upcoming summer months. The chair swivels very smoothly and the gas lift has so far worked as designed. The rockback range is set just the way i want it and i feel secure that the chair won't tip over when i lean back. I did have one tiny problem with assembly: one of the five casters didn't insert all the way into the underside of the five-legged base but since it did go in far enough to stay inserted when i flipped the chair right side up and sat down the caster was forced in the rest of the way and remains in place.
Great chair. Very comfortable. Super easy to put together. The head rest could be a little higher but I am a tall guy so expected it. Price was spot on.
