The chair was easy to assemble, though quite heavy. But it may be the single most uncomfortable chair i have ever sat in, and its lowest setting jams my legs against the desk. the lumbar is not great-the support is there, if you like what feels like a steel bar rammed into your spine, even though it is padded, it just juts very far forward. unfortunately i have to disassemble (I assume) and return it.
The first chair I got had a broken locking mechanism. The back would not stay locked in one of the 3 positions. After speaking with support, they sent me a whole new chair as a warranty replacement. The second one works properly. I love all the adjustments, and the lumbar support is great. The one annoying thing is the arms rotate just by moving them and I am constantly moving them unintentionally. Other than that, I love the chair.
This is a great chair. It was not hard to put together and its is very comfortable. I like how adjustable it is, the arm rest height and lower back suppordt can be moved. If I want to lean back I don't have to fight to keep it back. I recommended this chair to family who have office jobs because of how comfortable it is.
I saw previous reviews that spoke about the chair being reclined and I just thought that maybe they didn't do it correctly. But, sure enough, the chair is reclined, even on the most upright setting. You cannot sit up straight and have your back actually touch the backrest. No way you should be paying $400 for a chair you have to lay back in just to utilize the features. You can't even use the head rest unless you're really laying back. Everything else was great. It seems like the chair is high quality. Assembly took maybe 20 minutes, super straight forward. But, no way. I'm returning it.
