It finally happened!’

I should have gotten this machine years ago! Now I know it’s a necessary investment for so many... Since becoming disabled at a fairly young age, one of my favorite activities (cooking, mostly for the enjoyment of others) took a steep decline. It’s been really sad not to be able to/have the stamina to make really decadent full meals. I’ve also come to need really specific medical nutrition and have a ton of restrictions. The standard Vitamix is all I need to make sure the textures are safe, the food is nourishing, and I even get to prep much easier and make some nice meals for others. I couldn’t be happier and the performance/quality is unparalleled! I actually bought a refurbished 5200 - but I honestly believe it might be brand new, no one can tell any different. Between the power, the warranty, and all of the helpful tips - I just know I’ll be using it for years to come.

We have owned this blender for over 10 years! It struggles to pulverize at this point but gets the job done. Still enjoying our own smoothie creations. We have had this blender serviced twice over time due to the motor seizing but Vitamix has been good to us. Each repair was covered under warranty including shipping! At this point we are ready for an upgrade to the Ascent series. We have loved this model, would be five stars did four due to having to send in for repair.

Fun to clean!

Honestly my favorite thing about this is how easy it is to clean! I obviously love the blending aspect. It was as expected. Powerful, but does have a bit of a burning smell like it is overworking sometimes. But I think that’s the case with all blenders.

I bought my first Vitamix recently, and my fridge has never been so full with fresh produce before. It is extremely powerful, and sparks my culinary creativity. I was not big into cooking before but Vitamix makes trying new dishes recipes so exciting.

My Vitamix had an error message immediately after I ran the wash cycle. The machine did not get overheated. Error message will show if Vitamix is left on; not running but on. If I put small quantities in the container the error message will appear again.

The E1 error code you have received is an Internal Communication Error. To clear the error code, we recommend cycling the power switch from the "On" to the "Off" position, waiting five seconds and then turning the power switch back to the "On" position. Please note that it may take a few attempts to clear the error code. This error code will appear if the machine needs to be recalibrated.

This is my 2nd Vitamix— I love it. I tell everyone everywhere to buy one—My first one broke after 11 yrs and I could’ve just fixed it and carried on, but it is used daily and is inconvenient to send it and ship it and not have a warranty, so I just decided it was worth it to purchase another, receive credit for my old one, and keep on blending. And it was great to have the option for a monthly payment, this will help a lot more people have access to this worthy price point.

It’s extremely loud and scares the cats. I also thought it would be a bit more powerful to break frozen fruit down or be able to add carrots without any water to make carrot baby food without any liquid added. but over all I am satisfied enough to keep it.
