I know everyone’s experience is different but we’ve had this same vitamix for over 10 years. I believe it’s been 13 but I know over 10. We aren’t the nicest with the machine either (let our daughter take it to college with her). So the fact we’ve never had to return it or use the warranty is every Impressive

Its great to be able to use ice or frozen yogurts in smoothies. Love that frosty consistency. There were cheaper blenders that I think would have sufficed though.

I purchased my first 5200 over 8 years ago. I’d always wanted one but never wanted to spend that much for a blender. I actually had an old one with the stainless container that I had gotten rid of with our really trying it. ( so sorry I did that). I use my blender daily and love the versatility. I like it so much I found another one to keep at our cabin and it will now go camping with us.

Blends very well, and it's not too loud. My only complaint is that water gets trapped in the handle during washing. Once it's set upright, the water dribbles out onto whatever surface it's set on.
