A workhorse!

We bought our Vitamix at the Del Mar Fair in 1995. I still have this same blender 26 years later and it works exactly the same as when it was new. The White base has yellowed a little bit, I replaced the tamper once because I thought I could use it without the lid and the stainless cutter destroyed the plastic tamper in a split second (never did that again), I replaced the pitcher after 15 years when it developed a small crack that leaked. Same motor, same cutting head.
I bought each of my nieces one of these for their wedding presents. Don’t waste your money on the fancy button models. Get the basic workhorse which has On/Off-High/Variable and the Speed knob. You do not need any other features for your Vitamix.
Get off the fence and buy one.

Its amazing! I love all details of the Vitamix 5200. The one thing i would change is i would make it lock in place because my blender came up once and grinded metal off the motor.

I bought my Vitamix a year ago and LOVE it! I also have a food processor as well. I use my Vitamix so often that I thought by using it so much it would ware out a lot quicker. I have got to give it to the designers of this product because it is still going strong and I have not needed any kid of replacement parts. Woot woot. My blender has seen it all from easy to loads of ingredients in it and it works like a piece of art! I would recommend this product by far! They last for decades!

Never understood the hype but this blender is IT! I can make smoothies and sauces without the blender getting stuck. It can handle anything. Love it. Would definitely buy it all over again.
