We love this blender and use it every day. We prefer the taller legacy blenders. It’s easier to get the lid on and off and to clean. We were replacing another that lasted for nine years. We use our Vitamix every day to make protein shakes.
I love my new Vitamix! I am eating so many more green vegetables and also finding that I throw out less produce. If I am worried about not using something up, I throw it in a ziplock bag in the freezer to be used later in a smoothie—bananas, berries, spinach, kale, tangerines, almost anything. I haven’t found anything that the Vitamix hasn’t smoothed into a delicious morning treat. I haven’t tried soup or anything fancy yet but looking forward to it. Also looking forward to hopefully making some yummy frozen cocktails when summer comes.
I owned a Vitamix forever. It lasted till 2023!!! Completely satisfied (I admit its noisier), and now, I am in market again for a new vitamix. My only problem is that I need a glass jar for soups and hot stuff.
Pros: Texture Quality, Durability, Easy to use, Power
Materials, construction, fitment, and function are all top notch as expected for a blender in this price range. Very capable and powerful. Looks good sitting on the counter top. It occupies more space than your average blender and can draw enough amperage to need a dedicated circuit at times. Product operates and performs as marketed.
We love our blender! This is our first Vitamix. We are avid cooks, and this blender has truly enhanced our cooking experience. The recipe book it came with was also very helpful in learning how to use it. Can’t wait to try more recipes!
Pros: Speed of Service, Texture Quality, Durability, Easy to use, Versatility, Recipe Enhancement, Product features, Power
I bought my Vitamix somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 years ago. I use it for smoothies almost every morning. Peach smoothies are a favorite, but I also like pinapple orange, pineapple mango orange, and strawberry or strawberry razzberry blueberry. I also use it to make really good crab chowder. I cook the crab chowder ingredients on the stove, then transfer it to the Vitamix to make it a smooth soup. I then add chuck crab meat and cilantro garnish.
About 15 years ago I spent copious hours researching which high powered blender I was going to purchase. It was a really big deal back then. I went with the K-Tec. I really liked that blender, but always had the feeling I chose the wrong one. This has now been corroborated. I love my Vitamix. I used it almost everyday. If I could turn back time...
My only negative is that it runs really rough a lot of times on high, so that you have to hold it down by the lid. In an ideal world it would run smoothly on any speed and you could walk away from it.
Pros: Texture Quality, Durability, Easy to use, Versatility, Power
Best blender! We were tired of the noisy and sticky blenders we had in the past. This blender is not noisy, compared to the other brands. Life changer! I no longer have to cover my ears or run to the other room every time my boyfriend blends something. I bet the quiet blenders from vitamix are even quieter and I can’t believe it!
