The Vitamix 5200 is better than I expected and is used much more than I anticipated! I have green smoothies about 5 times per week. I enjoy oranges with ice cubes in the Vitamix, it comes out like a rich milk shake! I love squash soup from the Vitamix. I thought the Vitamix was too much money before I used it, now I see it as a bargain based on the results and frequent use.

The title says it all. Performance-wise it's a five star blender, but with the price factoring it's four stars overall in my opinion. The seven year warranty is nice, but, again for this price it oughta be double that.

I didn't expect the pitcher to be plastic, hope it holds up. I use for smoothies right now. Not sure if it was worth the extra money. We'll see how the motor is doing in a couple of years.

works good, but not as good as imagined for the high price tag, I still have to stop the blender and mix with a spoon to get it to continue, like i did with my last blender that cost a fraction of the price. a bit disappointing. other then that, we like it..

I've had my Vitamix for about 2 months, and I have been absolutely amazed by what it can do. So far, I've used it mainly for hummus and smoothies. Compared to my old food processor, my hummus comes out smoother than ever. Also, putting leafy greens or carrots in my smoothies or juices is no longer an issue with texture. The Vitamix blends everything together so smoothly. I look forward to getting many years of use out of my Vitamix.

A blender to go to any day.

I have used this blender for about 4 years like 3 times every week blending fruits, bell pepper,beans name it anytime i call on the blender it works with full power it has not put me to shame. i just got another on about 6 months and its working just fine. If you need a blender you want to pass on to you kids and would function for as good for them VITAMIX is the right choice.
