I'm using my Vitamix about two months now, and I'm so glad I bought it. One of the best investments I've ever made! Works perfect, have no issues so far. Thank you!
Pros: Programability, Speed of Service, Texture Quality, Durability, Easy to use, Versatility, Recipe Enhancement, Product features, Power
This was bought to replace the original classic product purchased over 10 years ago and given to my daughter-in-law and her family. It also replaced the intermediate purchase of a rival product that is WOEFULLY undernourished. Compared to other manufacturer's products, this is clearly superior in virtually every way. I haven't embraced the new carafe design completely - I prefer the very solid, secure feel of the lid on the old unit. Overall, I am sure there is functionally no difference, but I genuinely feel the "look and feel" of the new unit doesn't provide the same confidence of reliability I had with the old one.
This is the 6th Vitamix I have purchased in twenty-two years, and the first one still works fine. My sisters, nieces, and daughters now all have one. They are beautifully engineered, super powerful, easy to use and clean, AND they are made in the US. We are all healthier because of the smoothies, soups, sauces, and baby food we can make. We love Vitamix.

I am very happy I finally purchased a Vitamix. I am extremely happy with it. I get a texture from the Vitamix that cannot be reproduced with my food processor or old blender. I had wanted a Vitamix for years but was hesitant because of the price. After using the Vitamix to make homemade vegan sour cream with cashews and tofu, which came out with perfect creamy texture with no grittiness at all, I knew immediately I had made the right decision. I do regret that I didn't get one sooner. I don't have to waste money on store bought smoothies for my kids anymore because I can make the same quality smoothies at home with my Vitamix. My old blender doesn't even come close, and I would blend my smoothies for several minutes in my old one and my smoothies would still be chunky. My kids wouldn't touch a smoothie out of my old blender. If you are on the fence because of the price, just buy it, you won't regret it, you will love it and you will be so happy you did it.

After burning up two inferior blenders, I decided to splurge and get one that will last. With a seven year warranty on the motor, this sounded like the one I needed. It got great recommendations from Consumer Reports. I've had this blender for about two months now and coudn't be happier. It blends beautifully and even pulverizes the seeds from berries ! No more seeds sticking in your teeth. I use this just for fruit smoothies. After adding my almond milk, ground flax seed, protein powder, and spinach, I put the frozen fruit on top (bananas, kiwi, pineapple, cranberries etc.). It doesn't take long before I have a nice cold, great tasting smoothie. It's pricey, but you get what you pay for. I couldn't be happier.
