I've wanted to own a Vitamix for 10 years, but felt like I couldn't "justify" the high purchase price. So, in the interim I've purchased the NutriBullet , the Cuisinart Blender, and various other "similar" mixers and quickly became disenchanted with them. Finally I treated myself to a Vitamix! And ... WOW ... It is definitely WORTH EVERY PENNY !! I'm having a blast with this thing, and living healthy at the same time. Had I not wasted my money on those other impostors, I could've had the Vitamix already. Don't skimp !! Buy the real thing. Buy the Vitamix !!

This is my 2nd Vitamix...the first one lasted me 10 years of superb performance! Easy to use, versatile controls will give me the texture I want, fast and super easy to clean! A little dish soap, turn it on and rinse! We use in our house for green and protein shakes...it is used at least 2-4 times daily...buy it it is the BEST you can get...I purchased the 5200 series for the second time!

I saved up for months to buy this Vitamix. I cook every meal from scratch and used my previous blender and food processor at least twice a day. I knew that when both died I wanted to invest in a machine that could last through years of multiple uses each day. My first Vitamix only lasted a few weeks before the variable speed stopped working. It was replaced with a new machine, which I was happy about. But I wasn’t happy to be without a blender for over a week while it was replaced. So far I’ve used it as a chopper, blender, mixer and ice crusher and it’s done well. I love the different features and I’m optimistic that it will be a good investment and last at least 10 years.
