Portable crockpot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love using my crockpot year round so I am happy to have an extra one for entertaining. This is a nice looking crockpot and it holds a lot. Settings are the same as my old crockpot and seem to work fine. What this one has that my old one doesn’t is a locking lid to make it portable and it even came with a carrying bag, which could come in handy. Overall, seems to be a good crockpot.

Cooking healthy food in a practical way

There are six people in my family and I am responsible for cooking for all of them. the pan will definitely help me prepare delicious and healthy food. The crock-pot is durable, portable, there is temperature control, 7 quart capacity and easy to clean.

The temp is perfect not too hot to where it’s boiling not too cold so it doesn’t take forever. I love my crock pot especially for meats it slow cooks them to perfection so they just pull apart so tender

Cooking made easy

My boyfriend got sick and I was able to use this to make a homemade vegetable soup for him in no time! I love how you can keep food on for as long as you want to cook and it comes out at your preferred temperature. I also love the size and durability of this crock pot. Definetly a kitchen staple. Cleaning was easy and effective.

Slow cooker indeed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice crock-pot and it’s cool it comes with a carry case and can be taken on the go. However, It’s very big, 7 quart and all and heavy. It will be even more heavy with food in it.
I am very disappointed it did not come with an instruction manual, mine didn’t anyway. I have no idea how to program it. I don’t understand to go concept. Anyway crock pot can be taken on the go unless this one works without electricity in the go, no idea. A recipe book would have been nice to have ideas of what to use it for. It’s very limited in its settings too, I would prefer to be able to adjust the time.
I used it to cook rice as I don’t want to use my stove during the hot summer months and heat up my house. It did a good job and cooked the rice in about two hours the way I liked it. I used oil on the bottom so it didn’t stick but the sides did. The rice didn’t taste the way it usually does when cooked on the stove.
This is a great product for a large family for things like soups, stews, and dishes that has a lot of liquid, I think.
Honestly I am not sure I will get a lot of use out of it, maybe I make soups in winter.

Poor Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot recommend this crock pot. Despite being packed very well in the box, the metal tray that goes on the very bottom was not aligned with the outer body of the crock pot (hard to describe). We had to bend and maneuver it to get it to fit on properly. Next, the metal outside feels very thin and light, like it will get dinged up easily. The handles are made of plastic and feel cheap. The lid isn't easy to center in place so it can be locked on. I don't like how there is no timer to tell you how long it has left to cook. For High power you only have 4 and 6 hour options and 8 and 10 hour options for low. When I turned it on low it got very hot right away. I'm kind of afraid to use this thing since I had to fix it right out of the box...
