Got this case for new phone one month ago. Was worried about it being thinner and not being as "beefy" as the defender series. I am happy with it so far. My son watches my phone when we grocery shop to keep him busy and has dropped it a couple of times, and phone and case show no sign of damage. Very happy.

I bought this because I was told it was the case I needed for my wireless charger to work. It doesn’t this is after I bought the symmetry with pop lock which also didn’t work. So now I have 2 otter box cases that were recommended by otter box that don’t work. So no I don’t recommend if you intend to use the apple wireless charger.

We're so sorry to hear that you've encountered such trouble with the Defender Series for iPhone 12 & iPhone 12 Pro in terms of struggling with wireless charging while using the case.
Our engineers have done extensive testing on the design to ensure that it is compatible with Qi wireless technology, so we were definitely surprised to learn that things weren't working out as expected. Are you attempting to use Apple's new MagSafe charger? Unfortunately, this particular OtterBox does not allow for the functionality of that specific accessory. As far as to use with a more traditional charging platform, there are some dynamics that can be a factor, such as the placement of the device on the surface, as well as the actual piece itself, since all aren't necessarily created equal.
Although this case has been confirmed compatible with standard Qi wireless technology, we actually have three distinct case models that were specifically engineered for use with MagSafe—the Aneu Series Case with MagSafe, The Figura Series Case with MagSafe, and the Symmetry Series+ with MagSafe—each of which can be found over on the official OtterBox website.
