The Griddler is so versatile with the plates it comes with. I also purchased the waffle plates and they work great. I was skeptical of how a burger might cook on it, but they were really good! Quesadillas are super quick to cook as well. Glad I made this purchase.

We replaced an older George Foreman Lean Mean Grilling Machine, which was good in its day, but was getting to be a real chore to clean up.
Right from the start, this new Cuisinart is more compact, easier to use, and much easier to clean up. The internal slide in and out drip pan is a great improvement over an external separate drip pan.
The reversible grilling plates are versatile and easier to clean up.
We have used the gridler for burgers, grilled chicken breasts, seasoned and sliced mini potatoes, and pancakes
We have been replacing most of our small kitchen appliances with Cuisinart (toaster oven/air fryer, coffee maker, food processor, waffle maker …). They may be a little more expensive, but they are reliable.

Things I love about the Griddler 5: it can be used open or closed, the plates are reversible from a grill to a griddle side, it has a sear function, plates are dishwasher safe, the drip tray holds a lot and is easy to remove and replace. I use this all the time!
