I bought the 11,000 Watt Portable Tri Fuel Inverter Generator for running miscellaneous power tools in situations where grid power is unavailable. I love that I can run my Millermatic 211 and other sensitive equipment without fear of damaging the electrical components! It, also, has plenty of power for the occasional backup power during outages… I’m happy with this generator!
Recently purchased The XP11000IHT at a great price and have used it under lo load to power my house fridge and garage freezer and a few lights during the engine break in period. Started right up and works like a charm. I'm really happy I bougth this as we have been having tons of rain here in the Pacific Northwest but I feel relived that I'm ready for it now.
Great machine. Well put together and solid. Overall I love it! I would have rated it five stars. But, one big thing that needs changed. The service hatch needs to be enlarged/expanded upwards by an inch. That, or provide a top mounted fill port/dipstick for the oil. It is way too tight to fill and check the oil crankcase. Emptying it for changes is a breeze with the attached drain hose.
I Purchased the XP11000IHT for home power outage backup. I unpacked it and got it ready to run. I live in the Pacific Northwest and we've had a lot of rain. I hooked it to the 50 amp inlet I had installed and fired it up on propane under low load over the next 3 days to complete the 8 hour break in period. It ran like a champ and was able to power my lights and heater as we are all electric no natural gas on the Olympic penninsula. The generator did not even break a sweat when my wife used the microwaveor electric stove. I'm very satisfied with the product and like knowing I have it if I need it.
So far I'm very happy with the quality of the inverter. I broke it in using propane and it went without a hitch. I used it to power my fifth wheel and used both a/c's. It ran perfectly for 3 hours. Im now installing a hookup so I can power my house and see how much of the house it will run. So far I'm impressed with the inverter.
