My 11000ith tri fuel generator did not work with propane right out the box . I purchased this to only use with propane or natural gas . This was VERY disappointing
Going from my 21-year-old 3550-watt open-frame gas generator to this XP11000iHT. Amazing! Going from extension cords to a 50-amp inlet box, Interlock Kit and Natural Gas. No more gas cans, no more running out of fuel. I originally wanted a Transfer Switch so I could leave a light circuit connected to the grid so I would know when grid power returned but a Transfer Switch became expensive when AFCI breakers are involved. Then I discovered the Reliance Controls PowerBack Power Return Alert device. Now I'm in business with the cost a lot less than with a Transfer Switch.
Can't find the oil drain plug. Can't find oil fill. Apparently have to remove covers and can't remove covers without removing wheels. No hard copy manual. When removing all apparent covers (some with cross threaded screws), still can't find oil fill/drain. How much of this thing has to be disassembled to perform mundane tasks? Attempting to find serial number by the registration instructions which show it stamped on the aluminum block means removing all covers/wheel only to discover no stamped s/n. Assuming the peeling off sticker is s/n, I don't know. Didn't run the thing yet so I don't know how to review at this point. Getting a little underwhelmed as to what to expect.
