Received my generator undamaged, put oil in as directed but had a difficult time starting up on natural gas, for which I intent to use it. Long story short, I had to buy a natural gas regulator and installed it on a "T" just off of my gas meter that I purchased from local big box store. I still had an issue with varying RPM's because of the gas hose length I needed, 25', I had to step up to a 3/4" and she ran great. I further found that I had to purge the air out in the line until I smelled the gas, about 3 seconds. Went through the break-in period and good to go! Runs most of my 3100 sq ft home, including my 4 ton AC with a soft start. Also, recently tested the generator charging my Tesla with the mobile charger wire from Tesla. At 32 amps (normal draw from house panel) it was vacillating up and down. Dropped the amps the car was drawing to 24 amps and it charged the car w/o incident. If this generator fits your needs, go for it. I would definitely buy another DuroMax!
This is powerful enough to run my all electric 2100 sq ft home. The only thing I don't like about it is changing the oil. It is difficult and makes a mess. This could have been thought out a lot better.
Very happy with this product. I’ve owned a few others. Love the inverter. So many devices in the house can’t handle fluctuations of power. Gives you peace of mind when you lose your power.
Access to the oil dipstick is blocked by a cable/sheathing. You can barely reach the dipstick and it's difficult to pull out straight without rubbing the dipstick against the cable which results in the dipstick getting dirty and leaving oil on the sheathing. Classic example of an engineer, not a mechanic, designing this system. Otherwise, it seems to run fine but have not been able to test for an extended period of time. If you call Duramax they claim this is not a design flaw even though the product specs/documentation do not actually match the as built design.
The tri-fuel 11k generator has a lot of capabilities. In addition to being able to run gas, propane or nat gas it has a trickle charge built in, sine wave power curve, remote start and CO monitoring. I run mine on natural gas and it has no issue powering my 2000 sq ft home including the central air. Good system! I also have the Generlink system on my house to safely connect the generator to all the circuits on my house and I'd highly recommend that system too.

I’ve been running the DuroMax 11,000W Tri-Fuel Inverter Generator on my food trailer for the last year and a half, every single day, and it has been absolutely incredible.
This generator has over 1,000 hours on it, and I have not had a single issue. It has consistently powered my entire business without missing a beat. Reliability is everything when you run a food trailer, and this generator has exceeded every expectation I had.
The tri-fuel flexibility is a huge bonus, but what really stands out is how dependable and efficient it’s been under daily commercial use. Long days, constant demand, and it just keeps going.
If you’re looking for a generator that can handle real business use—not just occasional backup power—this is it.
I bought this over a year ago, used it a couple of times to test providing power to my home in the event of an outage. It worked perfectly. It gives me comfort knowing I have it when I need it.
