⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Home Backup Generator for Propane Use
After extensive research, I purchased the DuroMax XP11000iHT, and it has exceeded my expectations. This generator strikes an excellent balance between power and flexibility. I mainly use it with propane, but it’s nice knowing the gasoline option is there as a backup if I ever need it. I use it strictly for my home, and the wheels make it easy to roll out of the garage when needed.
The first thing that impressed me was how quiet it is for a generator of this size. Unlike traditional open-frame generators, the enclosed inverter design keeps noise levels surprisingly low while still providing enough power to run most of my home during an outage. The clean sine wave output gives me confidence running sensitive electronics, computers, networking equipment, and appliances without worry.
Setup was straightforward. The digital control center provides useful information at a glance, and the generator starts reliably every time.
Build quality is excellent. The unit feels solid and well engineered, with thoughtful features such as the CO Alert safety system, 50-amp outlet, electric start, and heavy-duty wheels for mobility. While it is a substantial machine, that’s expected given the amount of power it produces.
What really stands out is the combination of inverter technology and whole-home capability. It’s rare to find a generator that delivers this much clean power while remaining relatively quiet and fuel-efficient.
If you’re looking for a serious backup power solution for your home, I highly recommend the DuroMax XP11000iHT. It delivers premium features, reliable performance, and excellent value for the money. I would absolutely buy it again.

I bought this back in January 26 and have had to use 4 times this year so far because of power outages. It's been everything I'd hoped it would be. Powered my whole place effortlessly!

Love the tri fuel and inverter

Purchased to replace an old generator and wanted both tri fuel and inverter. Had to go larger because natural gas less energy than gasoline. But, it can run continuously with no refueling. So far...runs great! Only gave 4 stars due to the difficulty of adding/changing oil.

I must have researched 20 generators and chose the Duromax 11000IHT. I wanted a generator which could power the entire house or our fifth wheel RV with no problem. And I wanted one with a lot of versatility and this one has it with fuel sources from gasoline, natural gas, and propane!

So far, I have been happy with my purchase. I own a bbq Food Trailer and will be using this quite frequently. The one I own has been great, bit is extremely loud. This one has been considerably quiter
