Great Quality Product and Design

I'm in my mid 70's and have owned a lot of equipment throughout my life This is by far the most well designed and engineered product I have ever purchased. I am amazed at the attention to details and user friendly aspect of this generator. It may cost more than some others but you get what you pay for. To save your electronic devises buy this inverter generator.

Lots of bells, seriously concerned about long term

The construction looks marginal. The engineering on the maintenance is nothing short of appalling. I have never seen worse access to critical maintenance areas. See attached picture of oil check/fill. The instructions for oil change literally say disconnect this hose, and tip it on its side to drain oil. Meaning you are likely not going to empty the oil pan. Since there is no oil filter, you better change the oil often, but it will certainly shorten the life. I am concerned about the vibration level. That could abate after break in. It started easily and ran quietly.

Very Satisfied with the XP9500iH

I bought the generator and was so pleased when I started it up. It was so much quieter than a typical open frame generator. After I started it, I took note of what appliances I could use without any problem. I'm using the 30 amp generator inlet box on my home. I could run everything I wanted. One burner on the electric stove, the microwave, refrigerator, oil furnace motor, (1/2 hp) well pump motor, coffee maker, and the lights. The only time the generator shut off was when we turned on the air fryer in addition to everything else. So I just restarted the generator (minus the air fryer) and we were running the whole house again. So obviously when you know you're close to the limit, you simply choose to wait a moment for one appliance to finish and then you can turn on the other one. I was also totally surprised when today I tested running the electric dryer without running anything else, except lights and a few low wattage items. The generator ran the dryer without a hitch. It was drawing 5400 watts and when the refrigerator started up, everything kept going. This wattage (9500 peak 7600 running) was the right choice for my home. I feel safe and secure knowing it will provide reliable power when we need it.

My first inverter generator replaces a 20yr genset

First Duromax. Setup straight forward from unboxing to startup. Took three tries to start at 14 degrees. Quality of fit, finish, control layout, owners manual all excellent. EXCEPT, access to oil fill. A Honda type oil fill extension is a near must.

I have an all electric house which needed 48 amps at 240 volt just for the heater. After compensating for loss for 5000 ft elevation, I decided that the 16k wasn't big enough, so I went with 2 9500's which are just right and I only need to use one of them in the summer for A\C. And I can use one around my 4 acre place for portable power since they are so much lighter.

The 9500 Inverter is a great compact Generator!

Bought the 9500w inverter generator a few months ago and have already had to use it twice for power outages. Its power is perfect, not a single flash hum or flicker like from my old generator! Its so quiet we can hear the neighbors generator running over our own. Would recommend to anyone!
