i bought this container to fit under my cabinet and it fits perfectly... it is a great size for making my morning smoothies and leaving me seconds for later... it has also been used to chop onions and all kinds of veggies for my soups and salads.. i love the raw soups i make in this container.... thank you Vitamix for these great products and for standing behind them!!

We have had our Vitamix for many years and use it pretty much every day. I took very good care of it as I do everything we own. Unfortunately because of our hard water maybe the container became extremely foggy and unsightly for our bar. It still worked fine but looked terrible. I tried everything to get rid of the fog with no success. Because it was in a very visible location we decided to bite the bullet and replace it.

I’ve had the base for over 10yrs...but purchased a new space-saving container recently. Everything the same as the original container, but the lid is really stiff, unlike the original lid. I’m fishing out my old container lid to use going forward.

I wanted a smaller size than the 64 oz container that came with the Vitamix. I make a 16 ounce shake every morning, so I was looking at the 32 oz vs 48 oz containers. I'm glad I got the 48 oz, when I want to make two shakes at once it would have overfilled the 32 ounce container. The 48 ounce is well made, fits under my counter, and has a nice weight to it.
