Ordered this based off of reviewers' suggestions if you have the low-profile container and make smaller batches. Use to really have to work to get smoothies for 2 blending, but much easier with the 48oz.

The original larger container that came with the mixer was so tall the Vita mix wouldn't fit under the kitchen counter cabinets (normal height), which was annoying. This container solved the problem.
The size of the container is perfect. The container is just not as nice as the original container that came with the blender. Pouring thicker drinks is very difficult, the spout is square instead of rounded like the original container, it makes a mess. The center piece of the lid is deeper than the original so when running the blender with soap and water to clean, the soap and water does not reach this portion like the original container, therefore hand cleaning is necessary. I do like the gray rubber material the top is made of over the original, it is easier to wipe down and clean and liquid repels off it very easy. I do wish they would have kept the handle made of rubber, this plastic handle is very slippery.
I really enjoy the 750 pro, which came with a 64 oz container. I have bought a number of additional containers for it...including the 32 oz dry container, 48 oz aer disc container, and the 48 oz wet container. All fit well on the base of the Vitamix except for the 48 ounce wet container. It moves noticeably, shifting to the right, when in operation and it seems it is too big for the base of the Vitamix. My question: why does this happen and not with the 48 oz aer container (which is clearly designed differently at the base--better in my opinion--and fits well)?

Hi there! Our customer care team is happy to do some troubleshooting with you to determine whether your container is damaged. However, when you turn your unit on, you will notice that the container may shift slightly to the right or the left. This is your Vitamix lining up the container for optimal performance! Please do not prevent this from happening as it could damage the motor. Once the container has shifted, you can rest your hand on top of the lid kit firmly if you would like to secure the container better while you blend.
The vitamix pour spouts on all the containers drip after pouring. They need a new design. This container is a good size and works well. There is a design flaw in all of them however.
