I WANTED THE BEST SO I BOUGHT WHAT THEY/SERVICE RECOMMENDED..THEN THE VERY NEXT DAY THEY FEATURED ANOTHER SHAVER THAT WAS NEWER AND HAD MORE FEATURES...IT IS A HUGE HASSEL TO SEND BACK THE ORIGINAL..ITS NOT A BAD SHAVER IT IS JUST DISAPPOINTING THAT SERVICE PEOPLE TRY TO SELL YOU WHAT THEY WANT TO GET RID OF..NOT NICE AT ALL

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The razor is not as good as the one I replaced it with. The original razor lasted over 10 years. I do not forsee this one lasting half that. The Shaving head snaps on and off and that is going to wear out. The razor only has one way to recharge. There is no way to just plug it in. I don't like the shape of the body it is hard to keep a good grip on it. I also need to go over the same place multiple times to get a proper shave. I am sure it travels well but make sure it is fully charged before you leave as you do not want to take the charger with you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was reluctant to spend this much money on a razor, but I wanted to treat myself thinking i would return it if did not live up to the hype. It has definitely lived up to the hype. The best shave that i have ever had with an electric or a straight edge. It shaves so close that it took a couple of weeks for my skin to get used to it. I now shave only every two or three days as the shave is so close. If you can afford it, treat yourself. would give 5 stars if it was less expensive.

I have had a few shavers over the course if many years I really liked my previous model the RQ1280 but wasn't able to get authentic heads the cheap one on line are garbage very dull and pulls your hair.
I then tried the new S9099 s9871 series and am pleased with the power and cutting action.
