At high speed it just removes my stubble without irritation and leaves the skin smooth! And because of it's speed you get a much faster shave because you are not going over the same area repeatedly, It was worth the money! I wasn't going to spend but I have so many "bargin shavers" over the years that Just didn't "cut it"!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Norelcos since I was about 16 years old. I am now 75. I've tried others over the years (just to make sure Norelcos were still the best for me, and they are). I love the way this S9000 Prestige self-adjusts to my light beard. Only thing I do not like is the not built in trimmer. It's a little more difficult to snap on the trimmer than my last Norelco which was built in and just popped out. But I only used my trimmer for my sideburns. The new way allows for beard trimming as well. Buy the way, my old razor still works. I decided to buy a new one rather than replacing the battery on my old one. The battery still worked on the old one but did not fully charge. I guess 10 years is OK for the battery. I would recommend Norelco (Phillips) to anyone.
