[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second 9000 series razor. I'm a Norelco fan. Tried foil/Braun, but prefer rotary. The shaving head on this razor is what you buy it for. Lower cost versions work well, but the smoothness of this razor is worth the cost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not like this razor! I thought paying a preminum price for a shaver would make it better. Not! The head is bulky and has some large metal pieces holding the rotating blades which will not allow one to shave around and under the nose. It was sharp for the first month. Not so much now. Disappointed! For sure. BTW I have shaved with a Phillips electric razor for over 30 years.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Please note that keeping your blades clean and replacing them when required is the number one way to make sure you get a close shave. We recommend giving your Shaver a quick clean after each shave and a more thorough cleaning each month.
Also note that using the right technique is key to making sure you’re getting the best results from your Philips Shaver. Hairs do not always grow in a uniform direction, and for that reason, we recommend moving your Shaver in circles while applying light pressure. This allows the blades to cut hairs growing in all different directions. Additionally, if you haven’t shaved for three days or longer, pre-trim the longer hairs with a beard trimmer to ensure a better result when using your Philips Electric Shaver.
