Best shave ever! But missing some accessories.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smoothest, closest, quickest, cleanest Norelco shave ever. Been using Norelco for many years. Amazing how much better this newer model is compared to its predecessors. For this reason alone. it must be top-rated at 5.
However it lacks some features and I almost downgraded the rating to 4. (a) There is no hardwired charging option, (b) There is no safety snap-on head guard. (c) There is no stand for quick, convenient, handy daily storage. (d) Case for entire package is huge - I have some brief cases that are barely any larger. For short-term travel, a week or weekend, don't want to have to pack that huge case, don't usually need a charger. But a hardwired charging option that can be packed/stuffed in the corner or a regular dopp kit for emergency use would be great. A snap-on head guard is important to protect the otherwise exposed head from dings, scratches, & dents. Even when razor is laying flat on the charging pad, the head is facing up and things can be dropped onto the head and hurt it. Why has Philips stopped supplying that snap-on head guard? Why would anyone use the charging pad for daily storage - with the head facing up? The pad doesn't have an on-off switch. No need for it to charge every day. Why not have a stand for the razor so the space needed for daily storage is minimized? Space on bathroom shelf, or in luggage, is typically at a premium. Seems to me these small additional features would add significant utilitarian value to this product at minimal cost.

Best Electric Shaver I've Ever Used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a number of electric shavers over the years, usually giving up on them and going to cartridge blade razors. This is by far the closest I've come to a cartridge razor and have yet to cut myself, unlike manual razors.

Good, not Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a few Philips 2000-3000 series but thought I'd give this newer version a try. Battery life is long, shaves close, but moving from neck to face pulls sometimes. Never had that with the older models.
