I have the cordless charger and wish there was a cord to shave option for this model, but there isn't. I have had great customer service for my questions about the shaver.

Over the past 3 decades, I have tried and purchased 2 Norelco Electric Razors I have never been able to get past week 2 of using any of them daily due to skin rashes. Additionally, the razors never seemed to cut close enough especially in my neck area. (Both Norelco razors were returnable AND Norelco DID REFUND my full purchase price as stated on the box and in the booklets. Therefore, I had no worries about trying this newest Norelco razor after basically 37 years of shaving with manual 3 and 5-blade razors.)
The new Prestige 9000 Series of razors are truly a huge improvement over my previous experiences AND I got a better shave than even my 5-blade manual razor.
Right from my very first shave with my new 9860/86 even with my "sensitive skin” I was able to get an extremely close and comfortable shave from day one!
It has now been 3 weeks going on 4 and my close and comfortable shaves have continued to be close and very comfortable,
I highly and honestly recommend this S9000 Prestige model 9860 for daily use for people with and without "sensitive face skin!!!" This is a new and highly improved electric razor from Norelco - AND - you can return it if you are dissatisfied in any way - however - I highly doubt you will take advantage of the purchase price return!!!
Yes, this electric razor is truly as excellent and improved as advertised!!!!!

I have found the Philips S9000 Prestige shaver to be the best shaver I have ever had right from the first shave. It has given me shaves that feel as close as a razor shave each and every time, is easy to use, and the Q1 charger is a great addition. Recommend it highly!
