A great razor

I was given the opportunity to try this razor and provide a review. Rather than write the first things that came to mind, I decided to use it for several weeks to allow the newness to wear off. I also wanted to test the claims of whether it would successfully shave a 7-day beard, a task that is a real challenge for electric razors. I actually tried this several times since, as I work from home, I often go several days between shaving. However, there are times when I shave every day and there are even times when I shave more than once a day.
This razor performs better than any electric I have ever tried. On the week old beard, it shaved clean and close no multiple passes and no cleaning up with a blade. Where I really saw a difference was when I needed to shave more than once in one day. The super sharp blades delivered a close shave without pushing against my skin and causing irritation.
There really isn`t anything I wold change about this razor and in the many years I have been shaving, I have tried every imaginable option. I will be sticking with this one because there isn`t much that can be done to improve it.
Pros: great design, charging is super easy, easily shaves a multi-day beard
Cons: a bit pricey

After many long years using electric shavers, my older Norelco shaver couldn't be repaired. needless to say, it had served me well over the past 15 years. I opted for another Norelco; this time, the S9000 Prestige. WOW! what an improvement! I now get the closest shaves ever. Ergonomically, it is very comfortable in my hands and easy to maneuver. The full floating heads float over the skin and touch every indent and valley. Maintenance is improved too: Rinsing the shaver after each shave keeps it clean and allows for every shave to be the closest possible. Great shaver. I definitely recommend it to anyone using or thinking of using an electric shaver.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this Razor from a website for my 30 years at my job. This razorvis a joke. You have to rub it on your face for 5 minutes to finally get a clean shave. I may end up throwing it in the trash if I can't sell it.

Not happy with product

Not happy with product I have bought Philip the Rocco ‘s my whole life and based upon this purchase I’m Really considering looking into another brand they have this product set up where it’s more expensive and doesn’t hold a charge is well and you had to buy replacement blades whereas before and Rocco was soft sharpening blades very disappointed

S9000 Prestige Trimmer/Shaver has Nano technology

I received a free sample of a Phillips Norelco S9000 Prestige trimmer/shaver. I found that the product does a great job trimming my sideburns and in addition provides a very close shave due to their Nano Technology blades. However, I would have liked the product to include a stand and also a plastic cover over the top blades because when you set it down you could easily nick the edges as I due not have enough room on top of bathroom sink to store it in the large leather case it comes with. I also do not care for removing the metal blade cover after every use for cleaning with running water. Based on the above, I was forced to give it a good overall rating but I would give it an excellent score for closeness and gentleness on my skin. Great product!!!!!

A wonderful product with good features

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. Overall this hair trimmer was very good. In all honesty it exceeded my expectations by far in most areas. In comparison to others used in the past it is of very good quality. One one feature that could use just a bit of improvement is ability to remove hair that may be thicker on some than on others. The issue was it took several times going over one area to get all of the hair off. Doing so caused a slight bit of irritation also the product got slowed down because of hair that it trimmed kept getting stuck in the blades. That being said maybe stronger blades or easier cleaning methods and provided instructions on how to do so would help. Other than that. The product is wonderful. I also want to mention that I was sent a free sample to use for this review.
Pros: removed hair, accuracy was fair
Cons: it caused some irritation, blades slowed up once or twice, had to go over one area several times

Aside from a few tough spots I have stopped using manual razors since my Wife purchased this as a Xmas present. I found that past electric razors were always lacking in closeness of shave and they were just not a viable option to razors if I wanted a good, close shave. Not anymore, I couldn't be happier and my skin is actually much better now that I've stopped using razors.

I received a free S9000 Prestige in exchange for my unbiased opinion.
I have been using a Phillips Norelco shaver for about 20 years. My previous shaver was a Phillips Norelco Aquatec.
My first impression was that this shaver was specifically made for my hand. It just feels right, easy to hold, not too heavy but still feels solid. I was surprised at how quiet this shaver is compared to my last. As for the shave itself, this shaver provides the most comfortable dry shave I have ever had. I was amazed at how close and smooth the shave was without being a bloodletting. This was as close a shave to a manual with cream as possible. The shaver has three different setting, I felt the middle setting was perfect for every day use. With the high speed setting, I did feel a slight tugging of my facial hair, but it was a much quicker shave than my old shaver and a much closer shave.
Cleaning was simple, I just detached the 3 shaver heads and ran them under the tap. The trimmer on the S9000 Prestige is a separate attachment that requires removing the shaving head and replacing it with the trimmer. This is the first shaver I have used that had this feature. This did take some getting used to, but the quality of the trimmer is much better than my last shaver. My favorite part of this feature is that it can be used to shave other areas of body hair as well as sideburns. I have used this shaver 6 days in a row without having to recharge it, so the battery life seems excellent. The shaver also comes with a very cool travel case so I can bring it with me and shave at work if I`m really short on time.
Overall the Phillips Norelco S9000 Prestige is the best shaver I have ever used and I would consider it to be the new gold standard for electric shavers. I highly recommend this shaver if you don`t mind spending the extra money for quality and want to step up your shaving game.
