It doesn’t matter where you kiss your wife, she won’t feel any stubble. Not only does a great job shaving, but very easy to clean after use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old Philips shaver was much easier to clean. It simply needed to be opened, emptied of whiskers and rinsed under warm water. This razer does seem to shave a little faster and closer, that's the reason I gave it a 3.

Although we're not sure what the latter was, the S9000 shaver may also be quickly and thoroughly cleaned. All you have to do is pop open the shaving head and rinse it under running water, similar to your previous shaver. We hope this is helpful!

The best shaver I've ever had

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been shaving from 1964, and have been using Philips Norelco since the early 1970s. Each Philips Norelco shaver I've owned has been an improvement over the preceding one, and the S9000 Prestige is no exception. It is the smoothest, most effortless shave I've ever experienced. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to charge; it has an excellent charge life. I would highly recommend this shaver to anybody who wants a perfect shave from a top-of-the-line model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The good: it’s quiet. The bad: it doesn’t give as close a shave as it claims. My 10-year-old, first generation Braun Series 7 gives a closer shave. I wish the S9000 Prestige gave a closer shave. I have been using Norelco/Philips shavers for more than 50 years — I also have the 20-year-old Norelco Spectra 8894XL — and it shaves as close as the S9000 Prestige.

Please note that, to get a close shave, keep your blades clean and replace them when required. We recommend giving your shaver a quick clean after each shave and a more thorough cleaning each month. Hairs do not always grow in a uniform direction, and for that reason, we recommend moving your shaver in circles while applying light pressure. This allows the blades to cut hairs growing in all different directions.

High cost with low festutrsy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced my old Norelco with this new model. It makes a great shave. Beware! If you travel no razor head cover is provided. The case is to large to pack and use. To clean the heads you have to pry the head off the razor with you fingernails. No flip top like on cheaper models. I don’t know why. When you rinse the razor it is designed to literally have water run through the body. If you lay the razor down to dry, water runs out of it the next time it is used. Tip: Don’t get dressed before you shave. I stand the razor up in a glass to drain and dry. These major design issues are not acceptable for a top of the razor. I like the shave so I kept the razor. You decide.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sever skin irritations

I’ve been using it now for almost 2weeks , the design is great and the shave is incredibly close almost like a razor but my problem with it is razor burn ( skin irritations) it’s very painful i tried wet shave things got a little better but the irritations remained, this shaver is aggressive and not suitable for semi or sensitive skin
Pros: design, close shave, built quality
Cons: very painful to use, skin irritations, razor burn

Great Battery Life!

I received a free sample of the Philips Norelco S9000 Prestige shaver to review, and I was really impressed by the battery life. The shaver display even tells you what percentage level the battery is always at. It is very easy to use, and heavier than most, giving it a more heavy duty feeling. Outwardly is is appealing with a heavy chrome colored plastic that helps with the illusion of being heavy duty. I can use this shaver many more times than my current shaver before having to recharge. However, I found I had to use the shaver for 2x as long as my current shaver due to the fact that the blades did not cut as clean as my current shaver. It also feels like a rougher shave and noticeable on first contact with my skin. I am curious to find out how long the blades last before needing to be replaced.
I love this shaver and impressed by the battery life, but it could use better cutting blades for a smoother, faster shave.
Pros: great battery life!
Cons: took 2x longer for me to get a smooth shave

Not happy with this product

Not happy with this product I have used Philip Norelco my whole life, and because of this last purchase I am really reconsidering that choice thank you, I think I may look for a whole Another Company for my shaving needs, as it is, I bought this product and it doesn’t hold a charge no where’s near as the previous Norelco ’s that I have purchased . Previously the blades were self sharpening ,now you have to purchase blades on top of paying a Premium price for the product ,it’s not worth it and I don’t recommend anybody buying this productPremium
I would recommend this to a friend!
