Thanks for posting your comment and telling us about your experience. This shaver may seem expensive, but the costs are related to its technology and quality. Regarding your results, all is not lost and you can maximize better results by tweaking small behaviors. For example, If you have not shaved for a couple of days and have a heavy beard, it is a good idea to trim your beard before you start shaving.

When using your shaver with a foam or shaving gel, always wash your face with water and soap before you start shaving; apply your favorite shaving gel or foam to your skin and start shaving by moving your shaver in circular movements over your skin. This ensures that all hair growing in different directions are removed from your skin.

If you are shaving without water, please, firstly, always wash your face with some water and soap and then dry it properly. Allow at least 15 minutes for your skin to dry completely before you start shaving and then, move the shaver on your skin in circular movements to cut all hair growing in different direction.

Needs a cleaning system

The shaver is an outstanding product. It's my fourth Norelco and no doubt the best one yet. I just wish that it had a cleaning system like my older Norelco. The head design becomes plugged with hair which cannot be removed without removing the individual cutting heads from the shaver and cleaning them with a brush. The design of the retainer does not allow water flow through the cutter assemblies so a rinse is not an effective way to clean the cutters.

Good raise your butt way too big and bulky

I’ve been using this or a version of this Razor for a long time. It works well for the most part, dulls fairly easy. The biggest problem I have with it is the charging pad in case her way too big. The case is as big as my shaving kit which makes traveling with it a pain. Why not go back to a small case or at least add it to the package for travel. Very frustrating.

Very good razor but the blades only lasted for 4 months.
Manual says that they should be replaced every year!
Would not have bought if I had known how long the blades last!

Cool Smooth Shave.

I have been using the Prestige trimmer for the past 2 weeks. it is a very sleek, yet powerful trimmer. To start, I am a guy who is likes to save money. The trimmer is a much better value than buying blades. I have been very impressed with this trimmer, It gives me a shave as close as a blade, maybe closer. My face is as smooth as a babies bottom after using the Prestige trimmer. The battery life is awesome. In 2 weeks, it still does not need to be charged. The trimmer is the best one I have ever owned. The only thing it is missing is a stand, so I can have it stand up on the counter in the bathroom. Rest assured, this trimmer works well and wont leave you with knicks on your face. The trimmer will pay for itself in 6 months if you use blades. I did receive a free sample in exchange for this review

meh -- not very close shave

I've been using this razer for about 3 weeks. I did have to use a blade twice along the way for important meetings, but I've yet to see it adapt or get a really close shave. I've used it with and without shave cream and in/out of the shower (note: it feels very nice to use it in the shower), but so far even the closest setting doesn't come close to a blade. Add that to no stand and cleaning brush and I'm questioning why I spent so much. It's pretty and quiet and holds a great charge, but it's pretty pricey for a less than great shave.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
