very good razor, I find it shaves very comfortably

I find it shaves very comfortably. In hindsight the version that you can plug in is a better deal. This can only be charged wirelessly. This feature would be nice if you could also plug it in but you can't. Also, the Qi charge pad is large and takes up a good amount of space on the counter. You will most likely leave it on a night stand or dresser which if you do allows you to use it to charge other Qi devices. This would be so much better if you had the option to plug it in, travel with it is cumbersome.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using electric shavers for the last 30 years. It started with dry shavers and for the last 20 years wet shavers. Since I have 3 other wet electric shavers, I was reluctant to purchase the S9000 Prestige. My other shavers were functioning well, but when I skip shaving for a day or two, they don’t give smooth shave and I have to shave one more time. Out of curiosity I purchased the S9000 Prestige to see if this shaver is worth the extra money. To my pleasant surprise, it is the best electric shaver I have ever have. It is so comfortable and gentle on the skin. It cuts the facial hair effortlessly even when I skip shaving for a day or two. I am not wasteful person, but I am thinking to retire my other shavers which still function well because I could clearly feel the difference when I don’t use the S9000 Prestige. For that I am purchasing another S9000 Prestige to keep in my locker at the health club. Excellent shaver I recommend

Good of quality of shaver could be saving time. Facial not easy to get hurt. Out family are loyalty of Prestige series. I would like to highly recommend this GREAT of shaver to everyone~

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a very old Norelco shaver that served me well for many years. So far it has proven to have the same high quality and shaving effectiveness as the previous shaver. The cleaning system is great, too. It is always pristine clean whereas my old one was never completely clean no matter how hard I tried. I do miss the pop up trimmer that my old shaver had though. The new shaver comes with an attachment that seems to work just as well as the old one, but it is much more difficult to remove the shaving head and replace it with the trimmer, then remove the trimmer and put the shaving head back on. The old one was a quick press of a button to pop up the trimmer and then just snap it closed when you are done.

Good shaver with a flaw in design

This is a very good shaver, but it has a design flaw. The shaving base is squared off so that heads are a distance away from the edge which makes it very difficult to shave under your nose. If it wasn’t for that this would be an A+++ shaver. But because of that you have to work and work to cut the hairs under your nose.

I started with blades then Braun years ago. Went to Norelco and been great for at least 10 years. Was going to purchase a new Norelco and saw the 900s. Big bucks but great reviews. Ordered one. Love the sound....nice clean whine. No rattle at all. The shave is as close as a blade shave....I am not kidding. This thing is crazy. I love it!!!!
Pros: closest shave i have ever had!!!, beautiful shaver excellent egros
Cons: none!

I've been using Philips Norelco shavers for 40 years now and was rather unhappy with the last 1 I was using that's even though the shaver head was supposedly their best one, it just wasn't getting the job done. I read the reviews on this one and noticed that they had a new technology in the shaver head so I decided to try it. The first shave was my usual dry shave and it definitely cut way better than the previous one and I was happy just with that result. However, this shaver can be used while showering and still operate properly. So I decided to try that lathering up a bit the face and then shower shaving. The result was fantastic! It was an extremely close and smooth shave, as good if not better than razor blade shaves. Also, shaving in the shower with lather allows a faster shave to be done so there's time being saved here as well. I'm extremely happy with this product and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is really picky about having a very close shave and smooth one. The use of the three different speeds hasn't been totally figured out for me yet but I seem to operate best with the slowest speed. The technology used in this shaver head is new but it's the best ever in their previous 40 years that I've been using a products. So this is a very well done to the Philips Norelco team for designing and producing an excellent product that satisfies all my desires from a good electric shaver.
