It works well but I would like a one touch to record feature to record a currently running program. It should in 30 minute intervals up to a total of 180 minutes

We already had a Samsung TV for 2 years that we used as a computer monitor only. When we retired, we wanted to use it as a regular TV, but there was no coaxial plug. This product allowed us to use a rabbit-ears with the monitor's HDMI input.

I bought this converter for my Uncle's TV and he now receives all the major TV network channels as well as many PBS stations and specialty stations. Couldn't ask for better reception!!

Incredibly Capable, Extremely Lacking Instructions

The DVR instructions are completely lacking all critical information in order to use this as a DVR. Fortunately A.I. told me what I needed to get it functioning. Using your own USB thumb drive (none is provided), the unit will not see your media device unless you format it MBR (Master Boot Record) and FAT32 using your computer. There is no way to format your media with the device. Then you must have this media inserted BEFORE you plug in the power cord and power up the unit. As for the user interface, nothing is intuitive and only through using A.I. for instructions (or playing with it at great length) can you eventually get its recording functionality. See attached chart I found online for recording durations with various sized storage media. Picture quality is GREAT, and the TV tuner is better than either of my expensive smart TV’s. It picked up several more stations than my TV’s built in tuners did.

Easy to Use - Good Tuner

This DVR is simple to set up. Reception on the tuner is very good. I don't detect significant insertion loss when I watch broadcast TV passed through this DVR. It takes about 2GB to store an hour of content. There's no option for compressed recording. It's light of features but easy to use.
