I bought this Digital TV Tuner box after the previous tuner (E-matic) crapped out in less than a year TWICE!! I'll NEVER buy E-matic tuner again!!! This GPX Tuner has been working very well coupled with the RCA HD Antenna rabbit ears!!! Gets a better picture than the E-matic tuner did!!! I'd definately recommend to a friend!!!

This is garbage. Antenna brings in 75 channels, and they come in clear.I hook up this OTA DVR, and 42 channels come in , with only 6 channels are clear. All the other channels are very bad, or terrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just bought this about 3 weeks ago because a tornado hit and needed to have a digital TV tuner for my smart TV to run a smart antenna.

I brought this a month ago and decided not to use it and placed it on a shelf because I thought it would be hard to connect.
Behold my fiber line broke because of the heat so I decided to unbox this small tuner and recorder and it took 90 seconds for it to connect and start working
I am very satisfied with this and plan on purchasing a couple more for my other house just in case something happens with the fiber there.
