I bought this a few days ago as a replacement and the quality hasn’t disappointed. Coupled with a small electric antenna, both used on a used small tube tv, the reception, picture, and sound quality is beautifully and refreshingly much better! A very welcome surprise! Especially on an old tv! Thank you, GPX! You’re awesome!

Disfunctional, lousy instruction booklet, slow remote response, doesn't recognize USB drive...just poorly designed JUNK!

Overall a good buy with one exception

Overall a good unit with the exception of being unable (to the best of my knowledge) to set start/stop times for recording. If I am home to turn on/off the recorder, then there is no use for the recorder as I would simply watch the show. This seems like a simple software upgrade for the unit. The tuner aspect works very well and rating that alone would be 5-stars - the recording issue is a deal-breaker for that aspect.
I would recommend this to a friend!
