Waste Of Money

I purchased two of these units thinking that if I recorded movies over the air, that I'd be able to replay them on my televisions, not so. This recorder records in MTS format using a flashdrive USB device, but does not play back on the unit, you can play back on your computer but not on a television. To convert MTS to another format for playing on televisions is too costly and using freeware can compromise your pc or laptop.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not really what I expected

This device comes with a very weak tv tuner so the channels are not clear picture. Also, the menu is very slow to load. The remote controller is not very sensitive so you really have to press hard to use it. I have a smart tv by Samsung that allows me to control any tv tuner or cable box, well, this one can’t be programmed to work with my tv. The worst part is that you need to use your own usb Drive or thumb drive for storage. Not really what I was expecting from this product!

Easy to assemble

I bought this 4 days ago and it's great, I wasn't getting a signal at first but when I was able to place it right it worked like a charm.

Cannot Actually Record shows I want to record

Poor performance of this unit. The remote has an annoying delay. Can’t set a timer to record, or there are no instructions to do so. Terrible manual. Why sell a device that is less than good quality and performance?

I put out door antenna for Tv up, needed converter as TVC is 1989 vintage
Can get a lot of fun old shows like Rifleman, Gunsmoke etc
