Bought this to have digital timer for my DVR. Does the job very well but also is an excellent media player and can be used as PVR as well. Really nice package.

EXCELLENT RECEPTION

We bought this to use as just a tuner on a really old TV at our "up north" cabin and it is working out WONDERFULLY!!! We were able to pull in two additional stations that we could NOT get with our old tuner!!! We are planning to buy additional units to use as recording devices for newer TV's that we own!

Easy to program and setup

I just bought this today. All features work well. The remote is a little hard to change channels with. Otherwise very good tuner.

Impossible to record

I have yet been able to record anything. The units did not comeith anything. I have attempted to plug in a USB flash drive and then a portable hard drive with no luck.
The tuner works but that is it

I bought this for my older big screen tv and it works great. Even boosted my antenna reception. Would buy more if I needed them!!

Exactly what I wanted

I was wanting to record OTA broadcasting. For a timed recording, you need to go to the guide and channel you want. Then scroll down to the program. It worked fine. If you’re wanting to do this, you have to connect to TV with HDMI so you can connect a storage device via USB. I connected a 2 T hard drive. What I recorded was easy to find just press USB on the remote.

This is my second (newer) TV recorder. The software / firmware seems upgraded and pulls in weak stations better than before!!
