Purchased 1 month ago, and works well, great picture. Only down sides are that the remote is too small with crowded buttons and weak transmission so often not seen by the receiver and there is no way to modify the quality of the recordings (to save space).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this when our old Magnavox went out. Absolutely did not want to get cable or internet or dish for our cottage. This is just what we needed. It has a better picture than the other tuner. It can even record which is a feature we did not anticipate.

Not the greatest UI and they don't update and fix, although should be possible. Has more outputs than other tuners. 7 day is for repeat weekly recording not program guide. Another tuner at the store has one day, no weekly repeat, would suck. Hope it's not the replacement. I have 5 and repaired 3 by replacing a capacitor inside. One more in shop with different circuit. USB connector gets hot, brittle and crumbles apart. Added USB extender cables to reduce heat at the tuner jack. Not the greatest but does work and more "holes" (outputs) is a plus. Update the UI to fix complaints and it could be great. Also tell people they can be repaired, maybe. Should last longer.

4.5 stars. Great picture and fast set up. Interface is a bit clunky (1/2 star mark down) but product works well at a good price point

Great for game day

Was setting up an outdoor screen and projector for movie nights. When we wanted to watch football now, realized I needed a digital tuner. My local Menards had these in stock and has worked out great!
