Friends and family recommended Fitbit, especially my grandchildren.
Took my $500 over 75 Old Age Security payment and purchased a Versa 3 and an Aria scale.
Exceptionally pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Battery lasts a good amount of time. Easy to see in daytime. Love it.

Its hard to navigate the screen. It requires more tapping and hard to connect in the bluetooth.

I regret spending so much money on something that annoys me so much. I HATE the strap, it does not strap on like a regular watch and unsnaps everytime i pass the end through the loop. When i rotate my wrist to see the screen, i have to over exaggerate the movement to see the screen display, and if i leave the display on ill just drain my battery, and i dont want to have a lit up screen all the time. When you reach your goal during a workout it takes forever for it to leave the screen so you can go back to your stats. On the positive side, the app is nice, missing food info. Should be free with purchase of fitbit devices though, instead of having the premium option. Not sure if the calories are accurate. Sometimes im sweating and working harder and less calories are burned. Its durable. I would recommend to someone starting and not too serious.

Nice looking device, poor functionality

I did a fair bit of research before purchasing the Versa 3. I was looking for an upgrade to my old Samsung Gearfit 2. Sadly I was very disappointed.
Pro's:
- Nice sleek design
- Really nice included band
- lots of default features included (heart rate monitor, weather, relax app, etc.)

- "button" is not actually a button and is VERY hard to actually press
- Device requires a data connection to sync with your device (unsure why it wont work with Bluetooth)
- When tracking an activity nothing else on the watch is usable (can't check heart rate or messages or anything)
- Fitbit app is not very intuitive
- Auto tracking of activities is basically non existent, will only track a few minutes at a time, regardless of what you are doing
- There are many more but I'll leave it at this

I was very excited about this device and had heard great things about Fitbits.. I was extremely disappointed with this device and it's lack of functionality. Wish I could go back to my old Gearfit 2.
