The unit shut down three times last night for carbon monoxide. The wind was very light and kept changing direction , so moving the generator around did not solve the problem. It might have something to do with the carbon monoxide sensor being located within 18 inches of an opening spewing massive amounts of the deadly gas. Instead of saving lives ,the CO sensor was senselessly killing my generator.

Storm Ready!

Purchased this Generator for home back-up power. Fortunately we have not had to use it yet but I have tested it twice now under full load and it powers my whole home as well as my well. It starts right up and is very quiet. It’s great to have the piece of mind.

I own a food truck and wear out generators every couple of years. I saw another food truck running this 11000 watt dual fuel and I couldn't beleive how quiet it was for that many watts. I asked of they liked it and they said they loved it. I decided this would be my next one to try out. I have been running it for 40 hours and this has by far been the best generator I've bought. It has so much power and the noise is very low for this size of a generator.. The features and build quality are so good, I'm sure I will get many years of use with it!

Great alternative to whole home permanent install

We were without power for a week after Hurricane Helene ripped through the Carolinas. That was when we realized that living in the area would require a backup generator. We shopped the permanent installed models, and they were way out of our price range. This Duromax checked all the boxes! It supplies plenty of power to run everything. We have it connected to our home propane system, so we have plenty of run time. It's quiet, reliable and easy to move to the outdoor pad when the need arises.

I would give it five stars, but accessing the oil fill is difficult. Otherwise, it’s fantastic! It runs my house with smooth power — no flickers when the A/C kicks in — and it starts immediately with the remote. Easy to move around and amazingly quiet for that much power!

Low maintenance, easy start

Pleased with the quietness under load, keeping the neighbors from revolting. I like the remote start. The trickle charger is so reassuring that it's going to start and I don't have to mess with a battery. Smooth power for the wifes computer. Really pleased over all.
