Just opened. I like the way the wheel and how the engine is insulated. I was not happy with the access to the oil opening. Very poor design! Putting oil in and changing should be easy not a chore. Otherwise, love the dual fuel and so far liked the meter. We’ll see how it does at next power outage but except it to work well.
I recently purchased the DuroMax XP11000iH generator, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. This generator has exceeded my expectations in every way. The dual-fuel capability is a huge advantage, allowing me to run on either gasoline or propane depending on availability, which provides great flexibility during power outages.
The inverter technology delivers clean, stable power, so I can safely run sensitive electronics along with larger appliances without any issues. The remote start feature is incredibly convenient, especially during bad weather, and the generator starts quickly and reliably every time.
What impressed me most is the amount of power this unit produces. It easily handles multiple household appliances, including refrigerators, freezers, lights, and even larger equipment without struggling. Despite its impressive output, it runs surprisingly quiet for a generator of this size.
The build quality feels solid and durable, and it’s clear that DuroMax designed this unit for dependable long-term use. If you’re looking for a powerful, reliable, and versatile backup generator for your home or property, I highly recommend the DuroMax XP11000iH. It’s an outstanding investment for peace of mind during outages.
My XP11000, works great. It runs my whole House. Upstairs and main level. Very simple to operate. Very easy to move. The directions are easy to understand and follow. Very very good on either fuel you decide.
Public power went out a few days ago. I fired up our Duromax (started immediately) and ran the house on it for the six hours we needed it. The outside temperature was 94, but we lounged around in cool comfort in the house, cooking on our electric stove, watching TV. The generator ran flawlessly, with not so much as a flicker of the lights inside!
I bought this as a whole home back up generator. It's super quiet, and efficient. I have propane stove, water heater, and emergency heat pump. This thing will run every single thing at the same time (except for the dryer), which is awesome! Maintenance is a breeze, and I fire her up about every 90 days. I actually bought another 7000ih inverter for my well house, and they both perform flawlessly.
