I got my Xp11000ih about 2 weeks ago. Due to my work schedule, it took some time to get it unboxed and set up. When I finally did that, I ran it for about 20 minutes with my shop vacuum as a load. Everything about it worked like it was supposed to. I haven't tried the remote control for it, but don't anticipate any problems with that. The instructions are VERY easy to understand. They were obviously written by someone whose first language is English, rather than having been translated. If I have any criticism, it's in one step of the instructions. After you remove the cover and plug the battery connectors together, it says to put the cover back on. THEN it tells you to put in the oil, but that requires taking off the cover again. But that was a VERY minor issue, as taking off the cover only involves removing 2 screws. Overall, I am very satisfied with this generator and would buy it again.
I bought this one for back up for my 16,000 inverter. I really like it as it is easier to move around. Very quiet running and smooth. It will not run everything at my house like the 16,000 will. I have a 5 ton a/c ands 4 ton. Both have had the soft starts installed. I also could not find storage covers foe either one so I had a truck tarp company custom build them for both units. I am loving these inverter generators.
Received this beauty yesterday and am very impressed with its sturdy packaging, stout design and straightforward control features AND, most importantly, concise manual and documentation. My son-in-law had a slightly smaller version that did a remarkable job of getting us comfortably through Hurricane Milton here in Florida. The inverter feature makes it much quieter than others, we were able to easily have conversations just a few feet away. Seamless switching from gas to propane; it didn’t skip a beat!
Hi guys, Looks like is all good so far. Break in is done and oil changed. Looks like it can handel the load and does what it says it can. Time will tell
Runs well on propane, started on first try even in very cold weather. Powered the entire house without problem, and it’s very quiet. Won’t even rev up much for half load.
Runs all of my computer equipment in my house as well as all my tv's without me worrying they will be damaged by a non inverter generator. Has plenty of power with the help of a 50 amp transfer switch to power my whole house.
