[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Standby me TV this thanksgiving and it’s definitely the purchase of the year! It functions as my second monitor in home office, my bedroom tv and my home workout buddy. It’s easy to move around (on the same floor, not up and downstairs) and very compact. Love it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect option to move around the house or the patio. Battery lasts about 3 hrs which is great. The sound quality is good and the picture is very clear inside (a little dark when outside in the sun as expected). Definitely recommend!

I purchased this less than a month ago.
Pros
1. Easily to watch tv and remote is cool
2. Clarify is nice for watching movies.
3. Horizontal and vertical use is also pretty cool.
Cons
1. I do not like is how heavy it is. It does not easily role anywhere it’s extremely heavy.
2. I’m not sure if is the weight that pulls the pole the tv sits on or if you pull it around but if that pole is rugged a certain way the tv disconnects and you have to play with the pole in order for it to connect again.
3. Touch screen and wen browser is very delayed.
4. Not good for toddlers. They reach and pull on it.
So as you can see many cons vs pros

Hello. Thank you for your review of the product. It isn't for everyone. But it does have quite a few fans that like using it around the home or in office settings. I've also seen streamers pick them up to add to their arsenal of video. This might not be for you, but LG has plenty of other amazing, groundbreaking products for you to look over. - T

I bought the LG Stanbyme to use as a display for events...and I LOVE it!!
I have our products and testiminials saved to a thumb drive and am able to share what I have to offer on the screen. And if I'm super busy with customers, those waiting have something to watch until I can help them! We can also easily access the web to share more or even process online orders as well...
While at home, it glides around easily...but taking it to events and transporting it can be a bit tricky - it's definitely NOT made for that but we're managing!
At home, it serves as a wireless monitor extension for my home office, or portable movie screen anywhere we want to watch Netflix (other than the living room).
The display is bright and the speakers are loud...its a great device all the way around!

I bought it to have my music and shows play in the kitchen and while working out. The only minor surprise is that the base is heavier than I expected but still I’d buy it again. I love the idea of big version of tablet, plus can connect with computer to use as monitor and phone.
