Purchased this coffeemaker based on recommendation from America's Test Kitchen. Really like it. Only negative comment is the carafe which doesn't have a hinged top and a somewhat awkward water filling method. The maker lid doesn't hinge back far enough to make it easier to fill.

The coffee maker holds 14 cups rather the traditional 12 cups. Unfortunately the basket and filters do not hold enough coffee to make 14 cups. -- if you like strong coffee and I do. I ended up with coffee grounds all over my coffee pot.
In addition the blue light is so bright that is lights up the entire kitchen. so far I haven't found a way to turn it down.
I do like the ability to get my coffee very hot. Great feature.
