My only problem was with getting all the liquid to drain out of the basket. Then I realized there is a little tab on the basket that must be seated properly in a slot on the coffeemaker. No problems after that.

This coffee maker is great. Easy to set the clock, timer, temperature and 1-4 cups or a full pot. It also makes great tasting coffee. I especially like the temperature setting. The medium setting works well if you use creamer.
