A couple of irritating defects….The coffee pot lid will not seat properly without a LOT of work to do it. The permentant filter basket will not go into place with out making sure to push it way down, so sometimes while brewing the basket is not right and brewing stops and can make a mess by overflowing. Have to be really careful when putting in filter. Shouldn’t be that hard.

The Cuisinart drip coffee maker is stylish and looks great. Also appreciate the 14-cup vs. 12-cup capacity. That little extra comes in handy each day at our household. Even though it's brand new, not happy with the small amount of water leakage that occurs EVERY time the coffee maker is filled. At first, thought it might be due to going to/past the MAX fill line ..but it wasn't. Even when staying under the 14-cup line, the machine still leaks. Such a hassle to have to wipe the counter each day after starting a pot. Cuisinart, please resolve this. This coffee maker does not meet your kitchen appliance standards.

Great coffee brewer! Does not overheat, and brews slowly and efficiently. Coffee comes out smooth and doesn’t mix in the grounds inside the pot.

We ordered the Cuisinart coffee maker model DCC-3200P1 for a great price and it was promptly delivered. 4 pots of coffee later the CLEAN light was on and the programming failed. We contacted Cuisinart and returned to defective machine. Less than a week after we shipped the broken one, a new one arrived in the mail. Great service! 4 pots of coffee later the CLEAN light is on again. The programming still works, but the CLEAN light is annoying (bright LED light that is remains illuminated 24/7). Not sure what's wrong, but it seems endemic to this model coffee maker.
