I'm disappointed in the coffeemaker as when you pour it goes all over the counter. Even if you go slow it drips down the edge of the carafe.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This coffee maker makes the best coffee I have ever had at home. The mesh filter works very well, leaving no grounds behind in the coffee. The options provided are for 1-4 cups, bold and the ability to set one of the three temperature options for holding the coffee in the pot over several hours without making it bitter.
The only issue for me is, as with other reviewers, the lid on the coffee pot is oddly fabricated so that when pouring the coffee, you must practically turn the pot upside down to get the last bit out. Nonetheless, the smooth, rich, robust flavor produced by the pot, (using the same coffee we have used for years), is worth the slight inconvenience of a wonky lid.

This is our 3rd Cuisinart coffeemaker. I broke the carafe on our last one and couldn't get a replacement - a discontinued model. This new one is actually easier to use AND it has a Clean function/button - the last one did not. Cuisinart coffeemakers make a great cup of coffee!!! Wouldn't have any other.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Second one I bought this month. Both of them had a faulty clock. I will be returning it.

I am thrilled with my new coffee maker! The choice of how bold you want your coffee to be and that you can set the length of time before the coffee pot turns off. I've always bought Cuisinart and always will.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this coffee maker, this is the only brand I buy. It is dependable, has the functionality to brew small or full pots, and the price is affordable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hesitated to get because I live alone and was replacing a smaller coffee pot but Consumer Reports was right in that there are no flaws with this coffee maker.
