[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would have given it a 5 but it crackles after brewing. While on and keeping the coffee warm it crackles and is very irritating. I read that this is a common issue. One review said that he cleaned the warmer plate with 409 and that fixed it. Haven’t tried that yet. The company should fix this problem since it’s common.

Faulty carafes.

I have two of these, one around 10 years old and the other maybe 15. I recently broke both carafes and ordered replacements and they both spill coffee or water when you're using them. It's terrible. You have to clean up coffee every time you pour a cup. If they want to be a quality company (and get any further business from me) Cursinart should replace both of these carafes with non leakers.

Very nice coffee maker. I had a Capresso for many years but I think their product diminished. This coffee maker is easy to use and makes great coffee. Plus a three year warranty, one of the best out on the market.
