[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had not used a Cuisinart coffee maker before and a 14 cup one at that. I haven't had much luck with others (brands) in the past. I stepped up a bit to try this coffee maker and I am so glad I did. Love the ease of setting it up (for the early morning cup of coffee) and easy to read screen. It is a breeze to set up and get to brewing! I look forward to a lot of cups of coffee!!

Sometimes the coffee is cloudy when you use the provided basket. Definitely have to use filters if you like your coffee to be transparent-ish. The lid is a little bit awkward on the pot. It pops off and on like a Cool whip container lid.
If you use filters it does make a great cup of coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third Cuisinart coffee maker I have purchased, this one being just like the last one, and the first one being a 12 cup unit. There are 3 people in my home and 2 of us are heavy coffee drinkers, making generally 2 pots of coffee a day. I have never had any issues with any of them. It will brew a pot of coffee quickly and the burner keeps it hot for a reasonable time. The only reason I have replaced my previous units is due to wearing them out ! The most recently replaced unit was 7 years old and only replaced because the carafe got broken. The unit was looking a little shopworn, so I just got a new one, and love it. Of all the different coffee makers I've owned through the years (and I'm Almost 70 !), The Cuisinart is my favorite.

I love the product. Very much like the last cuisanart coffee pot I owned. Love the heated hot plate. That’s the reason I purchased it. Not a fan of the carafe lid. It’s clumsy to put on.

Makes really good coffee. I've used the cheaper coffee makers and mu Cuisinart just puts out a consistently good brew. Be sure to change the filters as indicated in the instructions.
