I absolutely love this coffee maker. It’s actually my 2nd one, only because I relocated across the country and did not bring all my items, so I sold my old one for super cheap and bought myself a new one once I got settled in my new area. I missed it when I didn’t have it! I love that it can make 14 cups for when I have guests, but it can also just make my 5-6 cups for in the morning. I love waking up to my coffee already made for me (automatic feature), I swear it’s one of my reasons I love waking up. It’s also super easy to set and use, it really does heat to the perfect temperature, the automatic shut off feature feels like a safety-net, just-in-case, and it has a sleek look/design.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It’s a very elegant design and coffee brews quickly. I put on the hot feature and coffee stays nice and hot even after I add cold creamer. The only thing don’t like is the side panel has very faint numbers and it’s hard to see how much water you’re adding. That’s why I didn’t give it a 5

Like the coffeemaker...the lights not so much

This pot replaced one that was five years old and had started leaking. The coffeemaker itself doesn't disappoint but the little row of lights indicating that it is on and in use is overkill to the point of being annoying. This is not a car. It's a coffeemaker. Nobody sees it but us, and an occasional guest or two. I used black electricians tape to cover all but one little light. The only reason we need any light at all is so we know if it automatically shuts itself off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have tried several small kitchen appliances but they never last and usually they just don't do the job they are supposed to do correctly. Cuisinart is totally different. Not only are they a beautiful addition to my kitchen, they do what they are supposed to do with perfection and they are very, very durable!

Like the machine itself. The instruction manual doesn't clearly show what all the icons on the screen actually mean. Making the four legs higher was good as I had to get rid of my old Cuisinart because water accumulated below unit and rusted out the bottom metalplate.
